Hey there! Thanks for checking out McKenzie Struthers Photography. What caught your eye? What brought you to us? What makes me unique?

Honestly, I love what I do. I don’t view this as a job but as a true passion for expression and imagery. I love my clients, capturing their stories through the lens, and sharing them with the world. My camera is my view on something magical. I try to take what someone may see as something ordinary and turn it into something unique and beautiful.

About me though... this is always the awkward part.... I am McKenzie. I grew up in Utah and taught middle school for four years before meeting my husband moving to Las Vegas. From there he joined the Air Force, and moved us to Omaha, NE. We loved our time in the midwest and from there lived overseas in England for three years. This is where I picked up my camera and really pursued this venture. I am located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi!

I am the Owner/Photographer/Artist whatever you want to call it. I picked up a camera years ago, took courses on photography, continued education and learning from others and have grown into what I am today. I truly believe that I have something unique to offer.

I am fun, energetic, and passionate about what I do. I am first and foremost a mother and wife to the most incredible family. I have the full support of my husband and best friend in this journey and that has made the biggest impact for me to succeed. I have three littles that I love with every fiber of my being. They are everything to me. My business is my outlet, it is my identity outside of being mom and wife.

I cornered in on couples, portraits, and families because I honestly get so excited to document a family and their story. What makes them unique, what their love is, and how they grow in their journey. Being a part of someone’s journey, or invited into their home to capture them in their element is an incredible honor to me. I do everything I can to make the most out of a session, and building a friendship with my clients.
